Working Meetings

Working meetings of with representatives of the local business, non-government organizations, administration and media

 

Through meetings with representatives of NGOs, the business and the administration, IME aims to gain insights of the socio-economic situation of the various Bulgarian districts and to identify the common problems and issues, which they have. Every year the IME visits a significant share of the country's districts. Here you can find some information about some of our meetings.

On December 11th, 2013 the IME economists Desislava Nikolova and Petar Ganev visited Kyustendil in response to an invitation of the district’s governor Ivan Karakashki. The economists presented the results of a study of corruption perception in the Kyustendil district and the country, which is part of the publication " Regional Profiles: Indicators of Development 2013 ".

The meeting was attended by the economists Kaloyan Staykov and Yavor Alexiev from IME, Nikolay Nanev, temporary regional governor of Haskovo, Yancho Yanev, chairman of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and representatives of the business, trade unions, banking sector and media.
